Memorial Gardens

Cherished Pet Memorial Services Ltd. expects to have its Memorial Gardens ready for visitors by late summer, 2005. Situated in a serene pastoral setting overlooking the beautiful Kennebecasis River, Cherished Pet Memorial Gardens will offer visitors the opportunity to pay respects to their beloved pets and those of others.

Reflecting on the wonderful memories of time spent with their pets, visitors will be able to walk the pathways, cross over the Rainbow Bridge, and sit in our Victorian Gardens. The view of the river from this spot, with its many colourful vessels that sail its waves, is one that provides peace and contentment. For pet owners wanting a permanent resting place for their pets, Cherished Pet Memorial Gardens offers options to pet owners.

A "Niche Wall" allows the cremated remains of pets to be inurned in their own private compartment. Black granite tiles, inscribed with pet's name and time spent on earth, grace each compartment opening. For those with more than one pet and, wanting them resting together in the afterlife, will be able to avail themselves of "Family Units". Also available will be "Single Units" for pet owners who choose to have their one and only pet placed within.

Memorial services will be held monthly for pet owners who have suffered the loss of a pet. At that time, the placement of pets into their final resting place will occur. Guests of pet owners will be welcome to attend the ceremony. Costs to be determined according to size of unit, and perpetual care.
